Your job is to research and produce a poster that explains the discoveries and experimental procedures of two scientists.
Your group will be assigned a pair of scientists from the following list:
1. Democritus and Ernest Rutherford
2. John Dalton and Joseph John Thomson
3. Neils Bohr and James Chadwick
4. Erwin Schrödinger and John Dalton
5. James Chadwick and Joseph John Thomson
6. Neils Bohr and Ernest Rutherford
7. Erwin Schrödinger and Democritus
8. Joseph John Thomson an John Dalton
9. Ernest Rutherford and James Chadwick
Your poster must include the answers to the following questions or requirements:
1. What are their major discoveries, experiments or theories?
2. When did they make these discoveries?
3. How did they make their discoveries?
4. How did their discoveries change the world’s view of atoms?
5. Draw a labeled picture modeling their experiments.
Your poster and your presentation should:
1. Contain accurate answers to all of 4 questions for each of the 2 scientists.
2. Contain an accurately labeled picture showing the experimental design used by the scientist to develop their theory.
3. Be easy to understand.
4. Be visual appealing to the audience.
5. Be enthusiastic, confident, and appropriately paced for your audience.
