 He discovered the electron, and isotopes, and he created the masspectorometer.

2.    When did they make these discoveries?

3.    How did they make their discoveries?

 He mesured the mass to charge ratio of the cathode rays by measuring how much they were deflected by a magnetic field and how much energy they carried.

4.    How did their discoveries change the world’s view of atoms?

 He changed the worlds view of atoms by showing that the hydrogen atom only has a single electron.

5.    Draw a labeled picture modeling their experiments.
