  •   X rays are shorter than radio waves but longer than gamma waves

  • X-ray sources are compact stars, such as neutron stars and black holes
  • In addition, it appears that the space between galaxies in a cluster of galaxies

 

Human Uses:(Josh Holt)   

  •  The main use of X-rays is in medicine.  A comman application is in the form of X-ray machines, which take photos of a patient’s body.
  • Other uses are in industry, at airports to check customers and baggage.

  •  X-rays only allow you to view solid parts of your body
  •  Extended exposure can make your limbs or other body parts fall off
